Phototherapy

Light therapy exploits the medicinal effect of the optical spectrum of lighting fixtures. Our facility uses the following types of light:

• infrared light – the same application as with the other forms of heat therapy
• visible light – color therapy – the red and orange spectra of visible light stimulate the nervous system

while the blue and purple spectra have pacifying effects support cellular oxidation and the breathing of tissues
